Please meet our bassoonist Dr Lorelei L. Dowling, who takes you on a quick tour of her crib:
"As a member of Klangforum Wien, I feel like I live the life of a rock star in the world of contemporary music. So, just like the rock stars who showed off their homes on the American TV show MTV Cribs – a programme where musicians give tours of their houses (cribs) – I'm going to show you one of mine, where the bassoon magic happens."
In the form of a Digital Diary with weekly contributions, the ensemble members themselves provide a comprehensive and personal access to their everyday lives, starting at the anniversary day, June 13. On the occasion of Klangforum Wien's 40th anniversary, the ensemble is providing an insight into its artistic practices and daily routines.
