Travelling is a big part of what we do at Klangforum Wien, I feel privileged to have been able to travel far and wide, performing at wonderful concert halls and festivals.
The most important thing (after the music!) is to find the best burger in each place. From Seoul to Rotterdam, Köln to Warsaw. The undisputed champion (so far) sits in the middle: a triple wagyu cheeseburger from Tokyo, Japan.
I have already researched the best burgers in New York City in preparation for our 10 days at Park Avenue Armory performing the monumental concert installation "11,000 Strings" by Georg Friedrich Haas in September and October. Luckily there's a gym in the hotel...
