More contact for young people with New Music: We invite music teachers and their classes of senior pupils to visit our dress rehearsals at the Wiener Konzerthaus for the 2025/26 season. Together with musicians from the ensemble , music educators will prepare the pupils for the rehearsal visit in an interactive and motivating way and will come directly to the school for a double lesson. The dress rehearsals offer low-threshold, informal access to the concerts and allow special insights behind the scenes when the ensemble is still fine-tuning the music together with the conductors - and often also with the composers of the performed works themselves.

Concert Season 25/26 - CANYON
THE PROGRAM OF THE TWO SELECTED CONCERTS IN THE SUMMER SEMESTER 2025/26:
Tue, Mar 24, 2026 Archipelagic Sounds: (Preparation options: Mar 9–23, 2026)
A third from the closing flap of a garbage truck, Morse code, and endless loops are just a few of the many elements featured in the program of this diverse concert. The four works by Gerhard Stäbler, Laure M. Hiendl, Bernhard Lang Luxa M. Schüttler contemplate the infinite vastness of smallness and promise a musical journey that will imperceptibly change our stream of consciousness.
Mon, May 4, 2026 Light Spectrums: (Date options Preparation: April 20–30, 2026)
Together with IRCAM, which is providing the live electronics for this concert, the works of three composers—Isabel Mundry, Márton Illés, and Clara Iannotta —will transport Clara Iannotta imagination to entirely new horizons. The Klangforum Wien is accompanied by Carolina Widmann (violin) and Hélène Fauchère (voice).
