On March 20, 2026, Klangforum Wien opened the Berlin festival MaerzMusik with the immersive concert installation 11,000 Strings for 50 Pianos and Ensemble by Georg Friedrich Haas in the impressive setting of the MaHalla. Shortly thereafter, on March 22, the Ensemble staged the world premieres of works by Luxa M. Schüttler and Laure M. Hiendl at the Academy of Arts, complemented by a work by Gerhard Stäbler. Vimbayi Kaziboni conducted.
