11,000 strings in New York

Between September 30 and October 7, 2025, Klangforum Wien brought Georg Friedrich Haas' monumental concert installation 11,000 Strings to the impressive Park Avenue Armory in New York. After stops in Bolzano, Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Herrenhausen and Hangzhou, this unique sound experience, performed by 50 pianists and the Ensemble , is now on its eighth tour stop in New York.
