Concert excerpt from the world premiere of HYENA at Wiener Konzerthaus on 12. November 2016. Commissioned by the Wien Modern Festival and Wiener Konzerthaus with support from the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.

HYENA is a play about alcohol withdrawal. The text was written by Mollena Lee Williams-Haas, the wife of George Friedrich Haas, and is about her own withdrawal. In the performance, she herself is on stage as a speaker and is supported in the narration by the music of George Friedrich Haas, which is performed by Klangforum Wien.
