Klangforum Wien Orchestra

The seasonal concert on January 16, 2026, is the perfect opportunity to experience the KLANGFORUM WIEN for the first time in Vienna. With former and current students of the "Performance Practice in Contemporary Music" (PPCM) study program, the established Ensemble is expanding Ensemble interpretive history to include major orchestral works of contemporary music.

Double bassist Carmen Rodriguez, who is currently studying PPCM the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, talks about her studies and reports on her experiences as a member of the KLANGFORUM WIEN at this year's Salzburg Festival.
