Klangforum Wien Orchestra

The season concert on January 16, 2026, is the perfect opportunity to experience KLANGFORUM WIEN ORCHESTRA for the first time in Vienna. With former and current students of the study programme "Performance Practice in Contemporary Music" (PPCM), the established ensemble is expanding in order to include major orchestral works of contemporary music into his own history of interpretations.

Double bassist Carmen Rodriguez, who is currently studying PPCM at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, talks about her experiences performing as a member of KLANGFORUM WIEN ORCHESTRA at this year's Salzburg Festival.
