Aspiring composers gain fresh insights into playing and composition techniques in an inspiring environment during the outHEAR New Music Week. They'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with musicians from Klangforum Wien and students enrolled in the Performance Practice in Contemporary Music (PPCM) degree programs at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, bringing their compositions to life. In engaging workshops and personalized mentoring sessions with the outHEAR faculty, the composers can hone their talents and refine their artistic vision. In 2024, the faculty of composition features Franck Bedrossian, Annesley Black, Dimitri Papageorgiou and Orestis Toufektsis.
