13 years separate the demise of the princely composer Don Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa and the birth of the violinist, organist and composer Louis Couperin. From a distance of 400 years, Salvatore Sciarrino and Isabel Mundry look back on these sound worlds lost in time, from which an abundance of timeless new impulses shines forth, culminating in the intricacy of the “Quaderno di strada”, which extracts the chronological “vector-tooth” from temporal continuity.
