impuls . Festival | Laureate Concert 2023

impuls festival + academy in Graz (Austria) offer high-quality experiences with contemporary music through concerts, education programmes and innovative formats. Every other year impuls opens a call for its international composition competition, commissions new works for ensemble from the composers selected, and invites them to work intensively with Klangforum Wien. 

The laureate concert of the 2023 cohort premiered four new pieces on 2 August 2023. In addition, a recent piece by Malin Bång, former laureate of the competition and senior lecturer/visiting professor today, complemented the programme.
