Works by young composers
Polish Perspectives highlights various different aspects of the contemporary Polish New Music scene, attesting to its unique vitality. You’ll encounter distinctive compositions of the highest quality, bearing the hallmarks of very diverse aesthetic approaches, manifesting what is new in music with particular vividness.
The compilation includes works by Marcin Stańczyk, Cezary Duchnowski, Aleksandra Gryka and Wojciech Blazejczyk.
For this four-part CD box set, Klangforum Wien has recorded a total of 19 works by four composers. Each CD is accompanied by a booklet introducing the participating artists and the works. This project of Klangforum Wien was realised with the kind support of the Polish Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sports.
