Mauricio Sotelo and Philippe Manoury in conversation with Paul M. Zulehner

"Heaven", the last cycle concert of the 22/23 season on 5 May, was also the last edition of the FERMATE series of talks. It showcased an encounter between theologian Prof. Paul M. Zulehner and the two composers Mauricio Sotelo and Philippe Manoury, whose works were performed that evening. Together they discussed celestial constellations in music – the power of human thought in its relation to the universe, the contrast between contemplative and active music, as well as the unique experience of listening and the hope expressed in music.
