Amopera Trailer

On November 5, 2022, Klangforum Wien's first meta-opera was premiered together with the Belgian Needcompany at the Festspielhaus Erl in Tyrol.

AMOPERA stands for relationships, contrasts, hopelessness and ecstasies with which the glowing yet inhospitable terrain of love is traversed. Together with Jan Lauwers' Needcompany, Klangforum Wien and conductor Bas Wiegers tell a story of LOVE in the form of a concertante meta-opera.
