Voce – Voice: its sound emanates from the deepest depths of our inner self.
With his “Voices,” Hans Werner Henze reaches far out into the world, capturing the sound of the world in the process. György Kurtág, in turn, gives the late Miss R. V. Trussowa a voice whose intimacy points far beyond the words being sung, while Salvatore Sciarrino explores the boundaries of the nearly voiceless.
“Voce” refers to a concert series that, through its polyphonic nature, spans an enormous range: building on solid foundations, the “ Klangforum Wien ” explores many new directions for its own repertoire.
