Salzburg Festival 2026

At the 2026 Salzburg Festival, Klangforum Wien presented a diverse programme over four evenings. The series kicked off with the "Ouverture Spirituelle", featuring compositions by Tigran Mansurian, William Byrd, Luboš Fišer, Josquin Desprez, and Galina Ustvolskaya. This was followed by a portrait concert featuring Francesca Verunelli and “La nuda voce,” as well as two concerts in memory of György Kurtág with works by Morton Feldman, Gérard Grisey, and Luigi Nono. The concerts were conducted by Matthias Pintscher and Emilio Pomárico.
