Salzburg Festival 2026

At the 2026 Salzburg Festival, the Klangforum Wien presented a diverse program over four evenings. The series kicked off with the “Ouverture Spirituelle,” featuring compositions by Tigran Mansurian, William Byrd, Luboš Fiser, Josquin Desprez, and Galina Ustvolskaya. This was followed by a portrait concert dedicated to Francesca Verunelli featuring “La nuda voce” and two concerts in memory of György Kurtág, featuring works by Morton Feldman, Gérard Grisey, and Luigi Nono. Matthias Pintscher conducted.
