Together with ensemble members, students from the PPCM program PPCM University of Music and Performing Arts Graz will perform a variety of works by Peter Ablinger at this special concert at the MUMUTH in Graz. The tribute goes far beyond the usual concert format and offers a rare retrospective of arguably the most influential experimental composer in the art world since John Cage—an artist who fundamentally rethought the gap between discursive meaning and musical sense, the philosophy of noise, and the social conditioning of the concert business.
