Klangforum Wien at the Festival d'Aix en Provence, presenting selected pieces from past editions of Tower of Babel. Since 2023, Tower of Babel has been bringing together artistically uncompromising positions from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia, highlighting the power with which young composers from these countries position themselves outside a streamlined cultural industry. Tower of Babel sees itself as an act of faith in musical encounters that transcend the turmoil of the world around us.
