As part of the concert series 20/21 organized by the National Center for Musical Diffusion (CNDM), the renowned Klangforum Wien returns to Madrid for the second time this season to present an evening celebrating the dialogue between two key figures in contemporary music: Georg Friedrich Haas and Mauricio Sotelo.
The Ensemble will perform Hommage à Bridget Riley, a work by Georg Friedrich Haas inspired by the British painter. The score unfolds a fascinating interplay of sound perceptions, light, and movement. This is followed by the world premiere of Homenaje a Georg Friedrich Haas , a new work commissioned by the CNDM from Mauricio Sotelo, which pays tribute to the Austrian composer from a deeply personal perspective.
