Klangforum Wien is making its debut in Beijing as part of this year's edition of the Beijing Modern Music Festival. Conducted by Titus Engel, the ensemble will perform works by Beat Furrer, its founder and constant companion, and Xiaogang Ye at the Central Conservatory of Music Opera Hall, as well as a "soirée musciale" which was composed by Georges Aperghis especially for the members of Klangforum Wien in 2013. The latter weaves together very personal moments of the ensemble's soloists into a musical triptych.
