Wendy Vo Cong Tri

Wendy Vo Cong Tri was born in France in 1993. She began her musical studies in Toulon and Versailles. She then studied at the Rotterdam University of the Arts (Codarts) with Juliette Hurel and Julie Moulin and later at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) under the tutelage of Sophie Cherrier, Vincent Lucas, and Pierre Dumail.

A multifaceted and forward-looking musician, Wendy Vo Cong Tri finds herself at home with all kinds of musical aesthetics. She enjoys a busy musical life as both a chamber and orchestral musician.

An ardent interpreter of the orchestral repertoire, she joined the Philharmonie Zuidnederland in 2018 and has played with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dutch National Ballet Orchestra, among others.

With a fervent dedication to contemporary music and to finding new ways of expression, she has also made appearances with the Ensemble Intercontemporain and was a member of the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra.

Enriched by these experiences, Wendy Vo Cong Tri had the opportunity to work with artists such as Valery Gergiev, Lahav Shani, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Sir Simon Rattle, Riccardo Chailly, Matthias Pintscher, Péter Eötvös, George Benjamin, Heinz Holliger, and Bernhard Gander.

Following her unending drive for new experiences and making music at the highest level, Wendy joined the ensemble of Klangforum Wien in November 2022.
