Annette Bik

Annette Bik graduated from the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg. From 1982-1988 she was a member of the famous Hagen Quartett and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. She has also undertaken worldwide chamber music tours with Gidon Kremer and fellow notable musicians. She is a guest musician at Concentus Musicus Wien and is actively engaged in teaching at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna

Annette Bik is a founding member of Klangforum Wien, with which she performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. Apart from contemporary music, she also has a keen interest in Viennese Schrammelmusik and the music of Astor Piazzolla, which led to the founding of the Schrammelquartet Attensam and the Quinteto Tango la Boca. 

CD recordings with her have been released by Col Legno, Kairos, ECM, Deutsche Grammophon, Philips, Durian, among others.
